Romance is in the Air and Online as FabFemme Kicks Off 2004 with Valentine’s Day Singles Event and Launches New Website

Premier Event Group for Gay & Bisexual Women Hosts Gathering for Single Women at New Downtown Art Gallery

San Francisco, CA, February 13, 2004 – Just in time for Valentine’s Day, FabFemme, Inc., the premier lifestyle and social events company for the gay and bisexual women’s community, has unveiled its new web site at www.fabfemme.com and announced it will be hosting an exciting celebration of hip single women at The Valentine’s Velocity Dating Singles Event at Varnish Gallery on Saturday, Feb 14, 2004.

As with all FabFemme events, the Valentine’s Day Celebration will provide an opportunity for successful women to share a stylish and vibrant experience in a relaxed and modern chic setting, this time at one of San Francisco’s most exciting new cultural venues. Varnish Gallery displays works by both emerging and established fine artists in its downtown space, which in addition to its main gallery features a mezzanine-level gallery with an extensive library of fine art books.

With the launch of its new website, FabFemme is now ideally positioned to move ahead with its planned expansion into Los Angeles later this year. In addition to extensive information on FabFemme, its history and mission, the new site will provide a convenient source for details on coming events and a convenient online channel for event ticket purchases. More than a simple website, fabfemme.com will enable wired women across California to stay on top of the most fabulous happenings, and plan their social calendar well in advance.

“Varnish Gallery will be the place to be in San Francisco on Valentine’s Day for creative, educated, gay and bisexual women who are ready to experience some interesting art and meet exciting new people via an innovative singles mixer concept that I created exclusively for FabFemme members and guests,” said Susan Lubeck, founder of FabFemme. “FabFemme sets the new standard for delivering ultra-chic, fun and friendly events for sophisticated women who have great taste and who want to enjoy all of the wonderful amenities of their great city. FabFemme recognizes that successful women deserve social events and experiences as stylish and vibrant as their rich and varied lifestyles, and this V-Day gathering will be a great opportunity to enjoy gourmet food and drink, and get up to speed with what’s going on in the South of Market art community. In addition, we are delighted that our new website is now available to women everywhere. By expanding our brand and offerings onto the Web, and ultimately adding merchandising and media elements to the overall business, FabFemme is making steady progress toward our goal of becoming the premier nationwide network for professional gay and bisexual women.”
